Following the pandemic that deeply affected the entire world and our country, 2022 has been a year where we felt hopeful, moving closer to a life of freedom. It marked the beginning of a global socio-economic recovery process. After the challenging years of 2020-2021, the Turkish economy, like economies worldwide, faced difficult times during the pandemic. However, thanks to its robust economic structure and healthcare system, Turkey managed to positively differentiate itself by continuing production and services without interruption. The reinvigorated working life in 2022 has provided us with the energy to accelerate our path, motivating us to pursue our goals.
Our responsibility towards our colleagues and local stakeholders always encourages us to act with a visionary approach. In this regard, we aim to keep and develop innovative systems and practices within all our group companies to reach the most reliable, fast, and efficient business models. We are committed to working tirelessly to ensure that our colleagues work in a happy atmosphere and to provide our business partners with the most effective service, sustaining this productivity.
2022 was a year where we accelerated investments and organizational renovation. During this period where we defined new projects, set strategies, and took the first steps, I can say that we are in a significant transformation and institutionalization process.
As Kartur Group, we continue our stable growth. With our new investments, we are striving to expand our strength and employee family by adding Energy and Automotive activities alongside Logistics, Transportation, and Tourism. By implementing our planned investments, we will expand the scope of our efforts to strengthen our presence in the local arena, while also continuing to increase our added value with our new sector investments.
